  • I agree with Tim. These have been quite useful to me, particularly for percussion. Shakers, tambourines, etc., can be nicely ‘tuned’ to avoid conflicts. You can get that old ‘Motown’ kick sound with ’em too. These filters are very unusual, but nothing else I’ve used can do what they do, when needed.

  • Agree with Rex, very unusual and unique tool that won’t necessarily work on every sound but is absolutely perfect in some situations! Another top-notch release.

  • I got that filters recently and I find them raising level near the freq marked, apart from the cut they do.
    Cutting in 10 k causes a raising level over 8 or 9k, is a normal behaviour?
    Please, could you give me info about the best use of the filters?

    • Yes this is normal. Filters have what is known as a “resonant peak” near the cutoff frequency. These are best used for any musical HP/LP tasks.
      I recommend playing with a filter plugin with resonance/Q control to get your head around the functionality.

  • Hello , can you tell me how input impedance ( source ) and impedance destination you use for the sampling please ? I know this filter is reactive to both impedance and change this unique cutoff in different way …so if you can tell me ?
